Letting Faith Take Root
This week’s message highlighted The Parable of the Sower where In Matthew 13, Jesus paints four soil-types to mirror the condition of our hearts. Some of us trample His Word underfoot, some catch a spark of excitement only to wither under trial, others let life’s worries strangle our growth—and a few of us cultivate a heart ready for harvest.
Which soil best describes your heart right now, and what “hard pathways” are keeping God’s Word from landing deeply?
Where have you felt “rocks” in your life—moments when initial excitement fizzled under pressure?
What “thorns” (worries, ambitions, or distractions) are currently choking your spiritual growth?
What practical step can you take this week to till your soil—prayer, Scripture reading, community, or confession?
Which promise of God (e.g., Galatians 6:9; Philippians 1:6) encourages you to trust Him for an abundant harvest?
Who around you needs to see seeds of faith sown today, and how might you scatter encouragement or share the gospel with them?
