Acts 13:22 (CEV) God said about him, “David the son of Jesse is the kind of person who pleases me most!”

To be the “KIND OF PERSON” who pleases God:

- Pursue a heart.

Psalm 131:1 “O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised to high.”

- Take home point: If pride reigns in your heart, it everything else in your life.

Psalm 10:4 (NIV) In his pride the wicked man does not seek Him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

Psalm 131:1 “I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.”

Matthew 5:3 (GNT) “Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!”

- Learn to find in the Lord. NOT in what you from him.

Psalm 131:2 “But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.”

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

Psalm 131:3 “O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and evermore.”

Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
