    • vv. 15, 16 – And he blessed Joseph, “May you boys grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
  2. Jacob Blessed Joseph And His

    (Gen. 49:1-27)

    • In many ways, the blessing of Jacob was prophetic in nature. It was an outline of Israel’s future.
    • “A blessing cannot create potential. It can only help existing potential materialize.” Rav Shlomo Wolbe
  3. Jacob Blessed The

    Of Israel (Gen. 49:28)

Application:

  1. Bless Your

    1) Speak kindly to your spouse and kids.
    2) Speak well about your spouse and kids.
    3) Express appreciation and thankfulness for your spouse and kids to God and your family.
    4) Pray for God’s blessing upon your spouse and kids.

  2. Bless Your

    (1 Tim. 2:1-6)

    1) Pray unceasingly (vv. 1-2)

    • We are to pray for “all men.”
    • We are to pray for those in authority. (cf. Ps. 133:1-2)

    2)

    righteously (v. 2; cf. 1 Pet. 2:12)

    3) Evangelize fervently (vv. 3-4)

    • The

need of the world is a church sent missionary. (Rom. 10:13-15)

    • The

need of every church is to send forth a missionary.

    • What greater blessing is there than salvation that comes by believing the gospel message? None! But how can one believe if they haven’t heard? How can they hear without a preacher? How can one preach except they are sent?

Bottom line: I’m

by God to others.
