Are you on mission?

Matthew 28:18-20 — And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Three “bullseyes” from being on mission.

I. The gospel is proclaimed.

Acts 1:8 — But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

II. People are helped.

Acts 20:35 — In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

III. Our faith increases.

Luke 17:5 — The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

II Thessalonians 1:3 — We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

The Rock Cares Ministry
The Rock Cares includes compassion and outreach ministries in our church in which members of the Rock are currently serving. Most of our Care Coordinators are members of The Rock Church and have been involved in these ministries for years. We partner with these ministries through prayer, volunteering, and sometimes providing financial support. Our desire is to support our brothers and sisters in these ministries by communicating with the church various needs these ministries may have and by giving people an opportunity to get involved.
