I. NABAL: A FOOL IS
A. God wants us to be SELFLESS & GENEROUS.
a. Philippians 2:3 (NIV) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility consider others better than yourselves.
b) 1 Timothy 6:18 (NIV) Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
II. DAVID: A FOOL IS
A. God wants us to be slow to
a) Proverbs 14:29 (NIV) Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he whohas a hasty temper exalts folly.
III.NABAL: A FOOL IS
A. God wants us to be
a) Ephesians 3:12 (NIV) In him and through faith in him we may approach God withfreedom and confidence.
IV. ABIGAIL: A WISE PERSON RESPONDS WITH
A. God wants us to be
a) Proverbs 11:2 (NIV) When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
V. DAVID: A WISE PERSON
A. God wants us to be good
b) James 1:19 (NIV) My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

A. God is able to
