17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?
1 Peter 4:17 (CSB)

8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8 (ESV)

1 . God desires a relationship

you.

9 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT)

A relationship without

is subject to the (of the devil).

2 . God desires a

you.

18 Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Genesis 2:18 (NLT)

Five gifts God wants to give to ‘me’ before I becomes ‘we’
*

8 Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. Genesis 2:8 (NLT)

15 The LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. 16 But the LORD God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden- 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” Genesis 2:15-17 (NLT)

9 The LORD God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground-trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:9 (NLT)

8 … there he placed the man he had made. Genesis 2:8 (NLT)

26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness…” Genesis 1:26 (CSB)

I can never be comfortable trying to be someone I’m not created to be.

16 But the LORD God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden- 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” Genesis 2:16-17 (NLT)

23 You say, “I am allowed to do anything”-but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”-but not everything is beneficial. 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NLT)

The real power of the Christian life is when you know you can, but you don’t have to.

If God’s not enough, no person ever will be.
