Sermon Title & Text: “This You Know” James 1:19

1. James connects with Christians that are under persecution, by referring to them as, Beloved Brothers. The church of God is a community of people that go through trial. In those trials we have to exercise our faith in Christ.
2. This you Know, is how James starts today’s passage. He is reminding Christians to be confident in what they know about Christ while under trial.
3. How does the gospel of Christ impact your life. [cf 1 Cor. 15:1-4]?
4. Who is your “brethren”, your Christian family, and what difference does it make to be a part of a Christian community?
5. Prayer for the Week: Lord help me to continue to exercise my faith in You while facing challenges. Where there is confusion in my life, bring clarity and understanding of who You and are and what You are doing in my life - through my trials.
