Our Wars

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

Isaiah 40:29

Meaningful Relationships vs. Fear

1) My fear of

makes me distant.

But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
Genesis 3:9-10 *p. 3

2) My fear of

makes me defensive.

The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
Genesis 3:12

3) My fear of

makes me manipulative.

“Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
Genesis 3:16b

Wining Our War for Meaningful Relationships.

1) Remember how much Jesus

you.

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10 p. 737

You were bought at a price …
1 Corinthians 7:23a p. 1147

2) Be willing to

.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Colossians 3:13 p. 1184

3) Give it

.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:2-3 p. 1175
