Sermon Title & Text: “I’ll Live for Him” Romans 11:33 – 12:3
Message Series: A continuation of Wednesday Bible study: Worship- The worthiness of God
Message in a Sentence: I must give all of me as my worship to God
1. The Thanksgiving holiday is an example of how the Christian should live daily, provided that our giving of thanks is continually toward the God of our salvation.
2. Our love and adoration toward God should also manifest itself in our care and treatment of our neighbor.
3. A heart of gratitude to God is at the core of worship.
4. The indwelling Spirit of God, which is the Spirit of truth, appeals to our spirit by prompting us to worship
5. The indwelling Spirit of God leads us into all truth as we consume the word of God, even as our daily bread.
6. The indwelling Spirit of God reminds us of the mercies of God
7. The mercies of God are the sovereign acts of God whereby His great love for us is extended in sending His Son Jesus to die our souls to save
8. This great act of grace brings us into a new life in Christ
9. Our response, to Jesus’ sacrifice of His life, on the cross, for the sins of the world, is a life now committed to living for Him.
10. The life lived for Him is accomplished by an unceasing renewal of our minds with the truth of God.
11. As we continually yield our minds to the mind of Christ our lives manifest a heart of worship
12. As we give our hearts to the Lord in obedience to His word our lives becoming a sacrificial offering of spiritual worship
13. Spiritual worship is reasonable and sensible for the child of God who lives in constant remembrance of Christ

1. We must be all in
2. We must remember God’s mercy
3. We must allow His Word to change & reshape our minds

Everyday Jesus: Romans 11:33 – 12:3 Lord as a result of your loving kindness and tender mercies, receive our lives committed to worship in our hearts of gratitude.
· Monday: Read Romans 11:33-36. How great Thou art! Greatness is an attribute of God. Our worship should reflect reverence for His wisdom, His way and His will.
· Tuesday: Read Romans 12:1. The Apostle Paul is ‘Ain’t too proud to beg’ for the church of Rome and the church universal today, that we purpose to worship God. Let us meditate on the appeal of the Holy Spirit as He leads us into all truth.
· Wednesday: Read Romans 12:1 Today we focus on the ‘mercies of God – His Love, His grace, His righteousness and the gift of faith. Also read Romans 1:5-7; 1:16-17. Recalling the mercies of God becomes the motivation for our worship.
· Thursday: Read Romans 12:1-2 Our worship to the God of our salvation is the logical expression of our understanding of who He is
· Friday: Read Romans 12:1-2 God knows that our worship is imperfect because we are yet becoming, so He provides constant renewal as our minds are daily transformed by his word.
· Saturday: Read Romans 12:3 As the Holy Spirit continues to prompt us in giving our entire self in worship, we are enabled by the gift known as a ‘measure of faith.’ The just shall live by their faith.
