For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. —John 3:16
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. —Eph. 2:8-9

II.
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” —Acts 2:38
III. Faith and repentance go
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. —Mark 1:15
…testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. —Acts 20:21
IV.
Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. —Matt. 3:8
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. —Eph. 2:10
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. —1 John 5:13
