1 .
By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; —1 John 3:19
Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. —1 John 3:18
for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; —1 John 3:20–21
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. —Romans 8:1
and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. —1 John 3:22
And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us. —1 John 3:23–24

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. —1 John 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, —1 Timothy 4:1
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. —2 Corinthians 11:14–15
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. —1 John 4:2–3

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. —1 John 4:4
If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? —Romans 8:31b–32
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. —Romans 8:37
They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. —1 John 4:5
We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. —1 John 4:6
