John 8:31-32; Matthew 28:18-20
Introduction:
What is a disciple? A person who has a
relationship with Jesus and
His teaching and lifestyle reproducing others who do the same.
How can we accomplish our mission? By building bigger
who live for life’s bigger purpose of making disciples of Jesus!
What does a bigger person look like?
= bigger people initiate and work at growing healthy relationships.
= bigger people are willing to listen, admit truth, cooperate, partner, change, and submit
Philippians 2:3-16
= bigger people are sensitive to and active in meeting the needs of others no matter their story or background.
= bigger people freely give of their time, abilities and resources to serve the Lord’s mission.
= we choose a joyful positive attitude regardless of our circumstances or feelings because we know God is for us and at work around us at all times.
= consistently living and speaking biblical truth in love and being people of our word.
= giving God our best!
