HOW YA DOIN’?

John 13:31-35

John 13:31-35
31 So, when he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.
32 If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediatley.
33 Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer. You will seek me; and as I said to the Jews, “Where I am going, you cannot come,” so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another”

1. Desire To God. v.31 (1 Cor. 10:31)

First of all, Jesus tells them that a

of discipleship is a desire to God.


How can glory come out of the such a painfu thing like the cross?

On the cross Jesus

Satan. On the cross He became the sacrifice to redeem us from all the sins that separate us from God. On the cross He built a bridge between man & God so that we could be together again.


On the cross we see the & of God, the & of God. On the cross we see the
, the , & the power of God.

2. Unfailing Love For One Another. v. 34 (1 Cor. 13:1-3)


Through loving one another, Jesus told them, everyone will know that you are my disciples.


God’s Word says that the world will know we are Christians by our .


So the 1st mark of our discipleship is a desire to glorify God, & the 2nd mark is an unfailing love for one another.


So how can we grow in our love for one another?

well of the church.
• Learn to express your to believers.
• Strive to other believers.

BOTTOM LINE:

We are being true disciples of Christ when we are busy
God and others.
