Luke 16:13-15 (Jesus stated) 13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” 14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. 15 And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

John 8:47 (Jesus said) He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.

relationship with God.

IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF A HEARTFELT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD:

to listen.
Isaiah 50:4-5 “The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away.

to listen.
Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand my watch, and set myself on the rampart,
and watch to see what He will say to me,
and what I will answer when I am corrected.

God as you listen.
Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
