If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. —John 8:31–32

But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him. —1 John 2:27-28

And this is the promise that he made to us—eternal life. —1 John 2:25

And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. —John 17:3
