Because He Lives
Now What?
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
Next Steps:
I.
Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the
other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied,
“Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise is to
you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called
by the Lord our God.” Acts 2:37-39
II.
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and
to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper),
and to prayer. Acts 2:42

3 When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he
also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover
celebration.) 4 Then he imprisoned him, placing him under the
guard of four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring
Peter out for public trial after the Passover. 5 But while Peter was
in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
Acts 12:3-5
