“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

This verse shows how much God loves us. God loved us even when we did not love Him. Take a few moments and think about this verse. Discuss truths from this verse such as God loving us first, sending Jesus Christ for us, and Jesus being the propitiation for our sins.
