The Just Live by Faith

Part One - Salvation: Our journey of faith begins at Salvation
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10(NKJV)
Part Two - By Faith…
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval. Part Three- The Testing of Your Faith
Profiting from Trials
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces [endurance or perseverance] patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [mature] perfect and complete, lacking nothing. —James 1: 2-8(NKJV)
Ask God for Wisdom in your Situation
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. —James 1:5 (NKJV)
Don’t Be Double-Minded
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.James 1:6-8(NKJV)
Beware of the Enemy’s Plan
8 Be [self-controlled] sober, be [watchful] vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. —1 Peter 5:8-9(NKJV)
Let the Testing Do its Work in You
10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.—1 Peter 5:10-11(NKJV)
