Matthew 13:8-9
8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9Whoever has ears, let them hear.”
The production of good fruit starts with good
Colossians 2:6-7
6So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
Being rooted in Christ means

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Faith comes from understanding that the word tells the good news of salvation through
