Luke 19:16-19 (ESV) The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’ And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’

Rewards as Crowns
Crown of Life—– Persevere in trials
Incorruptible Crown —– Self-denial
Crown of Righteousness —– Finish the race
Crown of Glory —– Shepherd with love
Crown of Rejoicing —— Evangelism
Revelation 4:9-11 (ESV) And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Luke 19:24-26 (ESV) And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’ ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.’”
Simply lying back and waiting for heaven is irresponsible
