Going Deeper
Review Acts 18: 1-17
1a) Hebrew 11:6 says “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Do you believe that lack of faith can be/is the major reason for not trusting God’s faithfulness? Explain your answer.
1b) Apart from the above, what are some of the other factors that may hinder the believer in trusting God to be faithful?
2) List at least two Scripture references where situations appeared to be impossible but God had already provided the necessary resources.
3) How can trusting God’s faithfulness for His presence, protection and purpose enhance your willingness to share the Gospel?
3b) “God’s faithfulness does not mean that He exempts us from trials, but rather that He sustains us through them”. Using a text like Habakkuk 3:17-19, write your personal faith statement of trust and reliance on God’s faithfulness.
