Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Psalm 46:1

Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
James 4:4

“You are My friends if you do what I command.”
Jesus in John 15:14

He returned to Capernaum. At that time the highly valued slave of a Roman officer was sick and near death. When the officer heard about Jesus, he sent some respected Jewish elders to ask Him to come and heal his slave.
Luke 7:1 – 3

So they earnestly begged Jesus to help the man. “If anyone deserves your help, he does,” they said, “for he loves the Jewish people and even built a synagogue for us.”
Luke 7:4 – 5

So Jesus went with them. But just before they arrived at the house, the officer sent some friends to say, “Lord, don’t trouble Yourself by coming to my home, for I am not worthy of such an honor.”
Luke 7:6

“I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Jesus in Matthew 18:3

He was a

man.

I am not even worthy to come and meet You. Just say the word from where You are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” When Jesus heard this, He was amazed. Turning to the crowd that was following Him, He said, “I tell you, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!” And when the officer’s friends returned to his house, they found the slave completely healed.
Luke 7:7 – 10

It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith. He was even called the friend of God.
James 2:23

And when the officer’s friends returned to his house, they found the slave completely healed.
Luke 7:10

.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship.
Psalm 19:1

Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

God rewards those who sincerely seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
