Jesus conquered sin so we can live free.

1) Sin won the battle.

All of us have lost the battle with sin.

There is no neutral ground when it comes to humans and God.

2) Jesus won the war with sin.

Jesus came to fight the war against sin and death and win.

Jesus could do what he did because He is who He is.

3) The results of Jesus’ victory:

Jesus gives us someone to turn to with our sin.

Jesus gives us victory over our sin.

Christian freedom means being freed from sin to live for Jesus.

4) The challenge of Jesus’ victory:

Receiving Jesus’ victory will result in some sort of change.

We can always walk in that victory more fully than we are right now.
