The Lord Is My Shepherd

Life is full of uncertainties. If it’s not economic or social uncertainties, it’s the uncertainties of health and other personal matters. In fact, there is so much uncertainty around us, it could easily leave us immobilized in fear.

As true as this is, there is good news. We don’t have to face the uncertainty alone. We have One who will be with us through it all. He is the Lord.
Psalm 23 details just what our good shepherd does for us as His followers. As you listen today, seek to personalize this for your own situation.

Who do you allow to ultimately guide your life?  
What might hinder you from trusting His leadership?  

Are you willing to claim your lack of self-sufficiency?
Can you rest in the all-sufficient care of the Lord?

Do you realize that all of your stuff is temporary?
How much value do you really place on what is eternal?

Do you recognize how much your shepherd does for you?
How does this help you deal with uncertainty?
