Why Easter Matters Today
God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son, who forgives our sins and sets us free. Colossians 1:13-14 CEV

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT
You followed the ways of this world and obeyed the devil. He rules the world, and his spirit has power over everyone who doesn’t obey God. Ephesians 2:2 CEV
He leaned down to me; he listened to my cry for help. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:1-2 CEB/NIV
The challenges I face do not have to

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT

At one time you were like a dead person because of the things you did wrong and your offenses against God. However, God is rich in mercy. He brought us to life with Christ. Ephesians 2:1,4 CEB

And God raised us up and seated us in the heavens with Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 CEB
o I have a new
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do things planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 NLT
God is a God of
