Grace Be with You
Portrait of a Covenant Community
Part of Heads Up Colossae!—Colossians
October 29, 2021
In Colossians 4:7-18, Paul closes out the letter to the church in Colossae talking about relationships. He extends numerous greetings from many on his ministry team. He greets those in Colossae, Laodicea and Hierapolis (local churches in proximity to one another). He asks that certain people be welcomed when they visit. He even returns a runaway slave as part of the letter courier party. Paul sends his encouragement (prayers) and asks for their encouragement as well.
Why does God include these deeply personal greetings in His Word?
