Love Your Neighbor

The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” —Luke 10:27 (NLT)

Miles Law: Where you stand depends on where you sit.

  • Instead of arguing we begin to ask!
  • Jesus ministered to everyone.

Our heart today is for two things:
1. Grow in our understanding, so that we can grow in our love.
2. Church on the Rock would learn how to set the example.

My people are destroyed because they have not learned. You were not willing to learn. —Hosea 4:6 (NLV)

In order to LOVE, we have to LEARN!

3 things to help us Understand how to love our neighbor:

1. God Created ALL

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, and perfect in his generations: Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. —Genesis 6:9 (ASV)

Racism questions God’s Creation

and he made of one every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed seasons, and the bounds of their habitation; —Acts 17:26 (ASV)

Racism questions God’s Plan

And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying, “Worthy and deserving are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood, You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. —Revelation 5:9 (AMP)

2. God can’t heal what we don’t reveal.
When we reveal something to God, it is not to give Him knowledge of something He didn’t already know. It is to fully expose that thing to Him, surrendering it from your hands into His. Is there any racism in you that you need to deal with?

3. The divided world needs to see a unified Church!

God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its RICH VARIETY to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. —Ephesians 3:10 (NLT)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. —Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
