David increased his worship and desire for God as he understood the presence of God.
He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.”

The desire for God dominates the Psalms, encouraging us to think and feel God through the words of people who desired God, creating in us a deep craving to encounter and enjoy God.
Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is non upon earth that I desire besides you!
