SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

WARM UP QUESTION
Have you served on a jury? What was that like and how did it turn out? [Today we are going to study Revelation 6-7, looking at God’s judgement on evil.]

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read Revelation 6-7. Where do you see direct or indirect judgement here?
2. God seems to be taking His time about judging evil. Would you prefer that He judge evil instantly? What are some pros and cons of God’s patient judgment of evil?
3. Why do you think people have a hard time believing in a God that would judge evil? On the flipside, why do you think people have a hard time believing in a God who would allow evil?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
4. For you, is it harder to believe in a God that would judge evil or a God that would allow evil?
5. How are these chapters good news?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
5. How do you balance loving your enemies and crying out for justice?
