We can’t teach our own kids who they are until we know who we are.

1. Identity

(John 10:10 AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

You will live up to, or you will live down to, who you believe yourself to be.

It DOESN’T matter what someone else calls us or even what we call ourselves. It ONLY matters what our Creator calls us!

2. Identity

If we don’t choose to redefine unhealth with what is healthy, we will keep reliving our past and repeating our own childhood experiences.

(Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ NIV)‬‬‬ “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”‬‬‬

`
God can use others to remind us of our identity and help us to grow in our greatness.

3. Identity

(Psalm 139:14 AMP) I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

(John 16:13 NIV) But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

True identity is when we align with who our Father says we are AND, when the Fruit of the Spirit becomes who we are.

(Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬) “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, giving light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
