God With Us

Text: Matthew 1:18-25; Isaiah 7:14
Key Point: Jesus came so we could do life with God every day.

Immanuel means “God with us.” It is not just another name for Jesus, but describes the eternal purpose of God.

Opening ourselves up to the presence of God will change our lives.

Inviting God’s presence enriches every moment.

Inviting God’s presence will heal our past.

Inviting God’s presence drains worry.

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
