Why is it important to know about Heaven?
1) Heaven provides hope for the
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. —1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
2) Eternity
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. —2 Peter 3:13
Heaven is going to be way

1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. —Revelation 22:1-3
