Lost Gratitude
Luke 17:11-19
12/18/22
When there is a problem that arises in life – where do we go or who do we go to? The danger is using the words “I think” or “it seems right to me.” What if God wants to help us out in a different way? What can we learn from 10 men who were healed, but only one came back to say thank you?
Their condition
“As He entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance” v12
Their cry
“Crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” v13
His compassion
“Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.” v19b
Action Points:
Your walk of faith…
-Will not always look like someone else’s walk – therefore choose to be thankful.
-Will always result in action - therefore be bold to ask Him.
-Will bring compassion to others in need around you – therefore reach out to someone who is hurting.
