Leviticus 23:22, “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the LORD your God.’”

1 Timothy 5:8, Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

1) Hard Work

Proverbs 14:23, All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 18:9, One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.

Proverbs 12:11, Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.

2) Skilled Work Gets

Proverbs 22:29, Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.

Proverbs 12:24, Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.

3) Committed Work Secures

Proverbs 16:3, Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

Proverbs 10:4, Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Matthew 5:16, In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
