2023 Word of the Lord, RUN YOUR RACE!

In this year, 2023, The Prophetic & Intercession will spearhead the way. (Spearhead: a leading element, force, or influence in an undertaking or development) There will be, and is happening now, an increase in the Gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy, and a return of tongues and interpretation of tongues in your church and in your meetings.

God’s Word will become a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. It will be your guiding light shining in the darkness. Darkness is increasing, yes gross darkness. But the glory I have put on you will shine brightly. It will expose the darkness around you. I say shake loose of the darkness that grips your feet and ankles!

In this season, I hear the Lord saying, “Run your race, run your race!!!! Prepare yourself for the long-haul, for those who endure to the end shall be saved. Don’t grow weary and stop short of the upward call, but press on to the prize. Keep your eye on the prize. Don’t look to the right or the left, and don’t look behind. For what I have for you is in front of you, says the Lord.

Stay in your lane, the path that’s been marked out for you. Your gifts and callings are without repentance. Be a good steward of what has been invested in you. What have you done with what I’ve given you?, says the Lord. “Time is short, My coming is near at hand. Run I say, run as fast as you can. Lives are hanging in the balance, eternal lives. No more delay, it’s time. Step up, step in. Run your race. On you marks, I say, on your mark! Be poised and ready to go! Remove the distractions. Lay aside your weights. Run YOUR race with endurance,” says the Lord!

Theme Scriptures for the Series “Run Your Race”

Hebrews 12:1-2(NKJV) “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

I Corinthians 9:24-27 NKJV
“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”

Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Elements of the Race- RACE DAY!

Race day is the day you have been preparing for. It’s the test of what you have learned. It’s a test of how far you have come. It’s a test of your ability. It’s a test of your endurance. It’s a test of your strengths and weaknesses. This is a test of your training. This is a test of your strategic plan.

The Strengthening

Luke 22:40(NKJV)

40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.

The Testing of Our Faith

James 1:2-4(NKJV)

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

1 Peter 5:9-11(NKJV)

9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Joseph’s Test

Genesis 39:1-23(NKJV)

Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there. 2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. 4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority. 5 So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field.

6 Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance. 7 And it came to pass after these things that his master’s wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said, “Lie with me.” 8 But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. 9 There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

10 So it was, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not heed her, to lie with her or to be with her.
11 But it happened about this time, when Joseph went into the house to do his work, and none of the men of the house was inside, 12 that she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside. 13 And so it was, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and fled outside, 14 that she called to the men of her house and spoke to them, saying, “See, he has brought in to us a Hebrew to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried out with a loud voice. 15 And it happened, when he heard that I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment with me, and fled and went outside.”

16 So she kept his garment with her until his master came home. 17 Then she spoke to him with words like these, saying, “The Hebrew servant whom you brought to us came in to me to mock me; 18 so it happened, as I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment with me and fled outside.” 19 So it was, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, “Your servant did to me after this manner,” that his anger was aroused. 20 Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. 21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. 23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.
