Welcome to Highland Park Christian Church! We are so glad you are worshipping with us today! Today we will sing some songs to God. We love how music can teach us truths and move our hearts. You are welcome to sing along or read the words as we sing.
Communion packets are in the lobby and you are welcome to get one if you missed them on your way in. All believers are welcome to participate in that time.
A restroom is available in the lobby and if you walk through the overflow/gym area and follow the hallway there are a couple larger ones.
Follow the along with the sermon notes found here. They are fill in the blank and you can add your own notes too. You can also email them back to yourself when you are done.
We would love for you to let us know you are participating today. Please text 918-228-5718 with the word connect. to check-in and also to better connect with us. If you’re meeting in person, you can also fill out a connect card in the lobby once we’re dismissed.
LAST WEEK FOR NOMINATIONS: Our church is spiritually led by a board of elders. These men are selected from our church. Each year, we ask for the members of Highland Park Christian Church to provide nominations for elders. These can be currently serving elders or other men that you see that fit the characteristics found in scripture. To do that this year, all you have to do is text elders to 918-228-5718 and a link to the form will be sent to you or you can click here. If you are in the building and would prefer a printed version, they will be out in the lobby this morning. Once you fill it out, you can put in the blue offering bin or give it to Matt Crosser.
Looking for ways to serve with us? Let us know by texting the word connect to 918-228-5718. We would love to help you find a ministry to serve with.

Today is Day of Serving! Every year we set aside one Sunday where we actively serve the people in our community. We believe God created us to serve and the opportunities are great. There are two specific ways you can join with us and be a part of our Day of Serving. Please pray and see how you can serve with us.
Serve our community by joining a team to do general yardwork like mowing or raking leaves, or could be something like cleaning gutters OR sign up to make phone calls or write cards to some of our HP people that are stuck at home or isolated and who need community.
You can sign up to be on a team by texting DOS to 918.228.5718.
After we’re done, there will be food for purchase in parking lot on the east side of the Church building. Cost will be about $8/person (or under) and only a few dollars for a kids. Drinks and chips will be included.
