Day 72 - Grace Gifts

Austin Green

“We have different gifts according to the grace given to us.” - Romans 12:6 NLT

The word “gifts” in Greek is charisma. Charisma is a grace gift, something you didn’t deserve, but God gave you. It’s a grace on your life; when you use it, you feel like you were naturally made to do it. A spiritual gift can be defined as “a special supernatural ability that God gives to each of His children so that together we can advance His purposes in this world.” We were created to make a difference in the world through the “grace gifts” that God gave us.

God has called all of us to minister to the world around us. Many think it’s enough to have one spiritual experience a week and go about like their lives, and nothing changes. They think it’s the pastor’s job to hear from God, give them a message, pray for them, and much more. But all of us have a role in the body of Christ.

More than 80% of people who call themselves Christians don’t know their gifts or don’t operate in their gifts. We have created a process for people to learn their spiritual gifts here at Discover Life called Grow. I would encourage you to take this next step if you want to learn more about your unique spiritual gifts!
