Everyday Jesus: Everyday Jesus is a great way to deepen your Bible reading, prayer life & personal time with Christ.

• Monday: Read Revelation 2:18-29, Psalms 2 Thyatira was a hard working town, perhaps that became the point of Christ’s message. Today, meditate and ask the Lord to recenter your focus on relationship with Christ more than the busyness of fruitless activity.
• Tuesday: Read Revelation 2:18-29. Son of: Surely Mt 27:54, Lk 4:41 (demons), I Jn 3:10, Acts 13:10 Christ connected with this church by reminding He is the Son of God, with eyes like flame of fire and feet like burnished bronze [Ex 30:17-21, 40:7,30, 1 Kings 7:38]. Together the title and figurative references remind the church, Christ is a God of relationship. That thought can sometimes be abstract, today ask the Lord to make it clear how He wants you to connect and surrender your life to Him - specifically.
• Wednesday: [Day of Fasting] Read Revelation 2:18-29 What Christ had against the church at Thyatira was they tolerated Jezebel. Are there things you tolerate that are displeasing to the Lord? As Christ specifies His will for those that hold fast to Him, ask the Lord to be your strength to hold fast new, until He returns.
• Thursday: Read Revelation 2:18-29 Christ’s message to the church in vv26-27 contrast the works of Christ followers with works of Jezebel’s followers. In your prayer time, ask the Lord to make it known where time is spent on works of the world more than on works of God.
• Friday: Read Revelation 2:18-29 Those that hold fast to Christ, He gives authority & an iron rod to rule over the nations, and the morning star, which is eternity in His presence. It’s easy for us all to get so focussed on what is going on around us and the the work we must get done now, that we miss the promise of eternity with Christ. Today ask the Lord to deepen your focus on eternity with Him, in His presence.
