Clash of Worldviews
July 10, 2023

The Bible tells us the answers to the 7 most important questions:
1. Why is there something other than nothing?
2. Why are we here?
3. What went wrong?
4. Is there any hope?
5. Where is all of this headed?
6. How should we live with each other?
7. What happens after death?

Barna Research defines a “CWV” as:
1. believing that absolute moral truth exists;
2. the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches;
3. Satan is considered to be a real being or force, not merely symbolic;
4. a person cannot earn their way into Heaven by trying to be good or do good works;
5. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth;
6. and God is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world who still rules the universe today.

Do you believe all six of those points? Why or why not?

Many Christians are open to non-Christian worldviews such as: New Spirituality, Postmodernism, Marxism, Secularism.

A Christian worldview is

that He has revealed in Scripture.

Romans 12:1-2 - Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

What do you believe? Why?
