Philippians 2:9-11; Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19; 1 John 4:4
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. —Romans 10:17
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the Word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. “The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, if you will obey Him…and turn to the Lord with all your heart. For this commandment…is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.” —Deuteronomy 30:9-14
