“Then two robbers were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.” —Matthew 27:38 (ESV)
Crucifixion was meant to be as painful and
Crucifixion was an occasion for
The people passing by looked at Jesus as the ultimate
“And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way. —Matthew 26:44 (ESV)
“One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him:
“Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
But the other criminal rebuked him.
“Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” —Luke 23:39-41“Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom.” —Luke 23:42
“Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” —Luke 23:43
The thief on the cross knew three simple things.
