CANDIDATE WEEKEND NOTES
About the Process
After screening over 80 applicants, our search team recommended Luke Smith to the elders as one of their finalists. Through several interviews with Pastor Luke and much prayer, the elders are unanimously recommending him to be considered by the church for the position of Lead Pastor. He is preaching today and participating in two Q & A sessions later this afternoon so that you can get to know him better and participate in next weekend’s congregational vote with confidence.

About Luke Smith
Luke has served on staff at Crossroads as the Pastor of Student Ministries since May of 2015. During his time at Crossroads, he has also served as interim pastor of facilities, a member of the lead and teaching teams, leader of the Faith at Home team, and played an instrumental role in the renovation of our permanent home for Crossroads Downtown. Luke and his wife Katie have four children ages 8 to 18 years old: Adlei, Lawson, McKenna, and Morgen.
A sampling of Luke’s sermons may be found here.

Q & A with Luke Smith
