Next steps:
Trust that Jesus has risen from the grace and confess him as Lord for the first time.

Trust that Jesus forgives and restores by confessing sin the Holy Spirit reveals and ask someone for prayer.

Journey Group Discussion Questions:
God is always working to save the lost, but unless it is challenged our default as human beings is to seek familiarity, comfort, and personal satisfaction even in how we serve others. How does God challenge Jonah and us to see people far from God from his perspective?

In an era filled with political animosity, emotional distress, and anxiety about health, what cultural or religious expectations can get in the way of sharing the gospel with others? How is God calling you to share in spite of these obstacles, and what preferences or comfort might it cost us to obey?

What would you expect God to do if we decide not to participate in his plan? How can we encourage one another to embrace God’s mission wholeheartedly rather than avoid it like Jonah?
