Ecclesiastes 12:

13 “Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.” (NIV)

WHY AM I HERE?

To LIVE FOR

.

Be a person:

1. STUDY
- Study the bible
- Read it every day
- Know his Attributes
- Know what He loves and what He hates
- Discover a deeper understanding of your salvation in Jesus

2. PRAY
- Over your life
- Over the things/people God has entrusted you with
- His Word would come to pass in your own life/families life
- For the generations to come

3. DO
- Be doers of the Word

22 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” —James 1:22-25

BIBLE STUDY QUESTIONS

LIFE GROUP LEADERS: TAKE ATTENDANCE!!
(Use the Church Center App)

1) What blessed you the most from this weekend’s Art Bizarro event and/or this Sunday’s sermon?

2) Share with the group your occupation/lifestyle (school, job, home, family, etc.). How are these affecting the way you live for God?

3) According to the verses below, What does living for God look like, compared to living for yourself? Discuss the differences.

Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Ephesians 5:22
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord

Psalm 119:37
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.

1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

4) Our purpose is to be God-fearing people among the earth. This means to live for God in everything we do “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”(1 Corin. 10:31) With your bibles in hand, share a verse that you will use this week to help you to stay faithful to your purpose.

5) List prayer requests here and pray for one another.
