WHY PRAYER MATTERS

Why does it matter if

pray?

II Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) - “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Why does it matter if

pray?

Why most people pray…
• they simply want something from God
• they feel obligated
• they are desperate and have no where else to turn

We pray so that our communion with God would yield more knowledge of God and a deeper encounter with God.

Why does prayer matter so much right

?

I Chronicles 12:32 (NLT) - “From the Tribe of Issachar there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All of these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take.”

I Timothy 4:1-2 (NLT) - “Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.”

Deception - an act of or statement which misleads, hides the truth or promotes a belief, concept or idea that is not true is often done for personal gain or advantage.
