COVID-19 Update
Please note that as we have continued to see an increase in the number of Covid-19 vaccinations and a significant decrease of cases in our region, our TrueNorth leadership team has agreed that our campus will be “masks optional” beginning May 16. This will include both the auditorium and the TrueKidz building. We are sincerely grateful for your cooperation over the past several months and we continue to look forward to the days ahead!
May 31: TrueNorth Church Office Closed
Our office will be closed tomorrow, Monday, May 31 to observe Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday morning at 8:30am.
June 2: ALL Element Students on Campus
Beginning June 2, all Element Students will be on campus every Wednesday night.
June 3: Final For the One Vision Gathering
For the past 17 years, the heartbeat of our church has always been to create loving, creative, and relevant environments for the child, student, or adult to experience the love of Jesus. We will do everything within our power and resources for that one person to be won to Christ. TrueNorth Church has experienced a huge wave of growth and life change since we moved onto our current campus six years ago. As we begin Phase 2 and prepare to break ground for new campus facilities all the details will be provided during this final Vision Gathering on June 3 at 7pm. We invite you to join Pastor Steve and a couple of our leaders as we share the final blueprints of the new facility, as well as answer any questions you may have. No registration is needed, and childcare will not be provided.
June 6: For the One Commitment Sunday
The mission of TrueNorth Church is to lead people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. Since TrueNorth launched in 2004, the words of Jesus in Luke 15 have defined who we are and what we are about. “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them – what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it.” (Luke 15:4)
For The One is a two-phase capital campaign. The first phase was designed to generate $1.3 million to begin the loan process with our lender. We have completed phase one and are so excited to begin phase two! In phase two, we will be generating the funds necessary for construction costs.

June 6: TrueKidz Color Dash and Movie Night
TrueKidz wants to kick off the summer with your family next Sunday, June 6 at 6:30pm! We will be hosting a Color Dash and Movie Night outside on our church campus. Wear white and bring chairs or a blanket for a fun night for the whole family!
June 7: GriefShare Begins
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through some of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
There will be materials to purchase after the first couple of weeks of class.
No registration is necessary, just show up at the TrueNorth Church Office.
Class starts Monday, June 7 at 7pm and will run for 13 weeks. Childcare will not be provided.
June 13: New Summer Schedule
Our service times will be changing to 9 and 10:45am on Sunday, June 13 for the summer.
June 13: Move Up Sunday
TrueKidz promotions for ages 3 through 5th grade will be Sunday, June 13. All rising 6th-12th graders will begin Element in their new grades on Wednesday, June 23. Graduating seniors will stay in Element through the summer.
June 14-18: Cross Training Sports Camp
Cross Training Sports Camp is back this year. Kids who have completed Kindergarten-5th grade (2020/21 school year) will get quality basketball, cheer, or soccer instruction with a Christian purpose. Cross Training will be held at the Riverview Park Activity Center from 8:30-11:45am each day. Registration is $50 per child and is now live! June 21: Parent Class for Baby Dedication
At TrueNorth Church, we believe child dedication is an important step and should not be taken lightly. Parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise their child in a godly way until he or she can make a decision on their own to follow God. We require first-time TrueNorth Baby Dedication parents to attend this class taught by Pastor Steve Davis in order to participate in Baby Dedication on June 27 at 4:00pm. Class will be held Monday, June 21 at 6:30pm (childcare provided). Click here for more information and to register. Space is limited.
June 28: Discover TrueNorth
If you want to learn more about TrueNorth Church, what we believe, and how you can get involved, we invite you to attend Discover TrueNorth, Monday, June 28 at 6:30pm in the TrueKidz building. Dinner will be provided, as well as childcare for children 11 and under. Register here by June 23. Space is limited, so register today!
July 5-9: Crossroads Summer Camp
Element has transitioned from Elevate to Crossroads Summer Camp. The new week of camp is July 5-9. TrueNorth has attended Crossroads Summer Camp in the past with hundreds of student and leader lives being forever changed. All students will spend the week in gender-specific dorms at Anderson University. Crossroads Summer Camp provides fun for everyone with dozens of different activities to do every day. Students will have morning and evening sessions and the afternoons are full of fun, swimming, games, and activities. All meals are covered for camp apart from lunch on the way up and the way back. The cost of camp will be $300. Register here.

2021 Bible Reading Plan
Follow along with TrueNorth’s Bible Reading Plan as we walk through the entire New Testament in 2021. Our plan is designed so that you read one chapter during the week and a short selection from Psalms or Proverbs on the weekends. Book Overviews: As we continue on our 2021 Bible Reading Plan together, we will be publishing a brief overview of each book. In less than 5 minutes you will have a quick grasp of what you will be reading, who wrote it, and why it was written. Our desire is that it helps you know your Bible better and get more out of your time in it.
