“Let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.” Hebrews 12:1-2

God

through His people, and always involves those who are to know and do His will.

Merely knowing about God will leave you unsatisfied. Truly knowing God only comes through experience as He reveals Himself to you through His Word and as you relate to Him. ~ Henry Blackaby ~

To know God is to experience

.

“God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart,” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NLT)

“This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent—Jesus Christ.” John 17:3 (CSB)

“You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, and yet they testify about me.” John 5:39 (CSB)

“The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” John 3:36 (CSB)

“Then he will also say to those on the left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!” Matthew 25:41 (CSB)

Three reasons we must keep our eyes on Jesus…

1.- Jesus is the

for Knowing the Will of God

“I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.” John 17:4 (NLT)

2.- Jesus is the

for Doing the Will of God

18 “Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. 19 And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.” John 17:18-19 (NLT)

3.- Jesus is the

for Doing the Will of God

“I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” John 17:23 (NLT)
