What is the strangest Old Testament law you can think of?
How would you make out if you attempted to live all the Old Testament laws literally for a year?
What would be the hardest part for you?
READ Leviticus 19:33-34.
What does this law say about God’s heart? (“God values…” / “God desires…”)
How can you live out the heart of the Law-Giver found in this law today?
Skim through some more of the Law (Exodus 20 - Deuteronomy) and ask the following questions about one or more of the laws:
- What does this law say about God: His character and His desires?
- How can I live out that character or desire today?
PRAY for God to reveal His heart to you more.
PRAY to live tomorrow in a way that shows the heart of the Law-Giver to your family, friends, and neighbors.
