GOD CAN HANDLE THIS.
Notice how everyone tried to control the outcome of the events surrounding Passion Week:
CROWDS wanted a
RELIGIOUS LEADERS wanted Him
DISCIPLES wanted a
1. JESUS was
Philippians 2:6 “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled Himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross!”
2. JESUS was
Jesus predicted it would happen just as it did! Jesus was controlling the eternal destiny of souls with His dying breath! He was executing His will even as He was being executed.
