
Riches Won’t Make You Happy
Luke 12:13-21

What is it about the phrase “enough is never enough” that we don’t like? Someone once said, “Greed is the bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.” In this passage, Jesus speaks directly to this issue and wants us to choose – what will we do?

Admit. Confess. Repent any sin.
Obey God’s guidance in managing your resources.
Be a wise manager and eliminate debt.

Lay up for yourself treasure in heaven.

Give. Tithes. Offerings. Family. Listen for the Spirit’s prompting.

Do what you are already doing more and more, thinking less about storing possessions and money and more about God being at the very center of your life.
